My first day at Southern Utah University in my Track and Field class my teacher gave us a packet of quick and healthy breakfasts you can have in the morning. So I just wanted to pass it on to you!
· Lean Ham on toasted English Muffin
· Fresh fruit and string cheese
· Instant Carnation breakfast mixed
with skim milk
· Cottage cheese and fruit
· ½ of a toasted bagel with peanut
butter or light
cream cheese
· Toasted whole wheat waffle with fresh
fruit
· Smoothie (skim milk, frozen fruit,
& wheat germ in a
blender
· Ready-to-eat cereal with blueberries
and skim milk
· 8 ounces low-fat yogurt
· Peanut butter on whole wheat toast
with skim milk
· Small slice of cheese pizza and
orange juice
· Instant oatmeal with skim milk
Thanks so much for these tips. You are a great health coach! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, Jake. You are a nice addition to the blogosphere. Keep the healthy ideas coming!
ReplyDeleteI like to make a scrambled egg in the microwave (spray the bowl with non-stick spray, crack egg, salt and pepper, scramble it, and pop in microwave for 45 seconds). You can then eat it on whole wheat toast or in a small tortilla with salsa.
ReplyDeleteAlso, open face Peanut butter and banana sandwich...
You used skim milk a lot. If you arent sure who lilypadhorsepizza@gmail.com is, its me lily. First time looking at your new blog.
